Tayvallich is a small fishing village on the shores of Loch Sween, in Argyll, and sits in an area known as north Knapdale (Knapdale stretches from here, south to Tarbert). Loch Sween runs north east from the south end of the Sound of Jura and beyond Tayvallich almost making it all the way to the Crinna Canal! Tayvallich and the smaller settlement of Carsaig sit on opposite sides of the Tayvallich peninsula. |
