Location of A White Lodge B&B Battle
Battle is located on the A2100. We are just south of Battle Town Centre, a short walk from the railway station, Battle Abbey, Pubs, Shops & Restaurants.
The trains run two an hour from Battle Station. There is a direct service to London
If coming from London - drive through Battle Town, past Battle Abbey (on your right) over small roundabout, down Lower Lake past station (on your left) you are now on Battle hill (tesco express petrol station on right) drive up Battle hill around bend and as road staightens out A White Lodge is on your right (white picket fence, black b&b sign, gravel drive, white house) drive straight in and be greeted with a warm welcome, nice cup of tea or coffee.

At two miles in length with some 205 pegs, Wyland International Angling Centre boasts the largest single match lake in the country and in 2005 was voted one of the top 100 day ticket stillwaters in the Anglers Mail. Wyland is just two miles from the historic town of Battle where the infamous Battle of Hastings was fought in 1066. Set in 154 acres of countryside with a lakeside snack bar, picnic areas, disabled access and miles of beautiful woodland walks, it is an ideal venue for the whole family to enjoy.
