Bed and Breakfast Additional Details
|
Craigellachie Guest House is in the Highland village of Carrbridge, 7 miles north of Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park; we are away from the bustle of Aviemore yet within easy reach of all its facilities.
Our house is a traditional late - Victorian Highland villa where period features are combined with modern comforts. Breakfast is served in our attractive dining room where you can eat lightly or indulge in a freshly cooked breakfast from our comprehensive menu. Special dietary needs can be met if we are given reasonable notice.
Our guest lounge is welcoming and comfortable - on cold evenings we light our open fire - where you can read, enjoy games from our cupboard, watch t.v. or just relax and chat over a drink.
We are within walking distance of Landmark Forest Adventure Park and woodland walks around Carrbridge. Carrbridge has a great deal to offer both summer and winter visitors and is home to an 18th Century packhorse bridge over the Dulnain River. Carrbridge has both a train station and bus stop.
There is much to do and see in the area: whisky distilleries, wildlife watching, golf, mountain biking, fishing, pony trekking, climbing and walking. Watersports are available on both Loch Morlich and Loch Insh and the Highland Wildlife Park is situated near Kincraig.
A warm welcome awaits you at Craigellachie Guest House.
