John and Julie would like to welcome you to the Endeavour Hotel, we are in a quiet location a 10 minute walk away from the town centre.
Canvey Lake backs onto us, where there is an abundance of ducks, geese and swans. Fishing is allowed and there are large carp and eels in it
A local pub on the Island The Lobster Smack is over 200 years old situated on the seawall, with a history of smugglers.
There is a bus museum and an old Dutch cottage museum within a 5 min. drive.
On Canvey seafront there are amusment arcades, a 4 screen cinema, snooker hall with a virtual bowling alley. For the children a wall enclosed paddling pool on the beach.
Southend which is a major tourist attraction is within a 1/2 hour drive or 20 minute train ride away
Southend Pier is over a mile long and can be either walked along or you can catch a small train to the end of it. Further down the esplanade there is a sea life centre.
There are numerous nightclubs, casinos and restaurants in the area
