Edinburgh is of course famous for the wonderfully diverse variety of entertainment brought together for the cities Edinburgh Festival – a fantastic amalgamation of many unique art, theatre, music, comedy and other cultural events which draws hundreds of unique performers and visitors to the city from literally all over the world. The numerous annual events that make up the Edinburgh Festival can be enjoyed between July and September, and must surely be considered a “must see� for anyone planning on making a visit to the city.

Another event not to be missed is the fantastic spectacle of pomp and ceremony that makes up the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Watched live in person by over 200,000 people every year, this event brings the Edinburgh castle to life with music from the famous Scottish pipers and a magnificent fireworks display.
