Bed and Breakfast Additional Details

A hearty breakfast with our own free range eggs and home made preserves is served in our sun room while you enjoy our spectacular views and may even see a red squirrel, nuthatch or red kite. Lunches/packed lunches and evening meals are also available and special diets are catered for by arrangement. We have two guest rooms, each with a double and single bed, tea/ coffee making facilities and a DVD player. Children are welcome and a cot and high chair are available. Pets are welcome with well behaved owners, consideration for our own dogs, cats and chickens is required. Dog baskets can be provided and a secure kennel is also available. We have free Wi-fi throughout. Laundering facilities and hair dryer are available. Information on local facilities and attractions is provided. No smoking in the house but a covered garden seating area is provided. BBQ facilities are available on request. Additional facilities for specialist groups such as walkers, cyclists, fishermen, artists and nature enthusiasts, including secure storage for equipment, pressure washer, fridge/freezer space, studio/lab facilities and moth trapping equipment. The central location of Carsfad Cottage makes it an ideal base to explore the undiscovered gem that is Dumfries and Galloway. |
