Relax in garden or enjoy a home cooked Suffolk breakfast in our sunny conservatory. Breakfasts are locally sourced using Suffolk sausages and bacon, local mushrooms and free range eggs with homemade bread and preserves.
Situated in a pretty part of rural Suffolk between the rivers Deben and Orwell, close to Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Levington and Waldringfield ideally placed to explore coastal Suffolk, yet within easy reach of the A14 and A12.
There are beautiful walks, many starting from the village itself. Wide selection of walking maps available. Situated on Suffolk cycle route 41 with storage for bicycles.
Close attractions for bird and nature lovers are the RSPB reserves at landguard Point and Trimley Marshes, or the nature reserve at Newbourne Springs. For guests who enjoy being on the water there are excellent sailing facilities at Levington Marina within an established sailing school.Or for the less adventurous, enjoy a cruise on the river Deben or a ferry ride to Bawdsey Manor. Delightful Woodbridge is only 7 miles away and there are many good pubs serving excellent food nearby. |
