Plasnewydd Guest House accommodation is also near Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, home of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, which is the location of many popular events. Visit the Brecon Beacons National Park, Elan Valley and Wye Valley. Our charming traditional, welsh, family B&B accommodation is set in a peaceful location within very easy walking distance of all amenities. Our lodging in Wales has been restored to comfortable standard, yet retaining the character of our period property which has been occupied by our welsh family, who have always resided at our accommodation at Llanwrtyd Wells, in Powys, since being built as a guest house in 1911. This area is a paradise, with a wealth of outdoor activities for the energetic including mountain biking, motorcycling, cycling, rambling, walking, bird watching, horse riding, golfing or canoeing. Our B&B is certainly an ideal place for exploring the wild and broken plateau of Central Wales with its flora and fauna, this stunning countryside, has lush green valleys steeped in history and culture, in a place where time has stood still. Plasnewydd B&B accommodation in Mid Wales is a comfortable, relaxing stop-over for travellers to and from West Wales and here is also the perfect choice to explore the length and breadth of Wales.

Your hosts offer a scrumptious, extensive breakfast, with no stinting, food is cooked with pride using the best of locally sourced produce, copious amounts of coffee is provided. We are happy to cater for guests with special dietary requirements with prior notice.
<b>Accommodation</b>
All bedrooms are comfortably appointed with attention given to detail, included are complimentary beverage trays - with welsh cakes or bara brith daily, wash hand basins, robes, toiletries, tissues. thermostatically controlled heating, clock radios, hair dryers and playing cards. If you should require a snack an honesty basket is provided. As a quoted by a guest "here no detail has been overlooked"
Our tastefully decorated and furnished lounge, with its wealth of homely touches, is for the benefit of guests only. Use our comprehensive range of tourist books and pamphlets available for your personal rest and relaxing ambience and plan your days in Wales. A television is available for your entertainment or choose a film to watch on the DVD Player.
Feel free to make use of our award winning floral display garden and its facilities. Our garden is a mass of colour when the blossom and flowers are in season (you can help with the weeding if you like, bring along a trowel - there is no extra charge!). Here you can also enjoy the variety of birdsong to complete the relaxation process.
A storage shed is available for mountain bikes and equipment together with washing and drying facilities for those muddy clothes and boots.
Our delightful B&B accommodation is able to offer <b>a private off road car park</b>
With our apologies to families and pet owners however there are no suitable facilities for children under the age of four years and pets at Plasnewydd.
