The guest house is personally run by its owner, Leigh Giles, and is the perfect accommodation base to explore the Lake District, just a 10 minute walk from both Windermere and Bowness villages with their abundance of shops, restaurants and traditional pubs, and a short distance from Lake Windermere itself.

There are 4 tastefully decorated contemporary style guest bedrooms at Montfort Cottage, each providing accommodation for up to two people in a double bed. All have en-suite facilities except one, which has sole use of a private bathroom. For that special occasion, honeymoon or romantic weekend, there are two rooms with four poster double beds.
|
|
|
Your choice of room can also be upgraded to our superior option, which includes added extras such as a bowl of fresh fruit, additional towels (bath sheets) and bathrobes. For stays of three nights or more we include a bottle of red or white wine.
